Serbia dethrone Russia not only in EuroVolley but in the CEV rankings, too

By winning the gold medal in the EuroVolley 2017, three days ago, the Serbian National Team moved up by one place in the ranking list of the European Volleyball Confederation. Not only that Serbia dethroned Russia in the continental championship but they did the same in the CEV rankings.

Italy remained 3rd, while Eurovolley runners-up The Netherlands improved their ranking by three places and claimed the 4th place in the list.

Georgia, one of EuroVolley 2017 hosts, made the biggest step forward in the ranking, by seven places, to become No.28.
