The Russian side Lokomotiv achieved the second win in as many matches in the 2018 CEV Champions League. In Round 2, they wrecked Polish club Skra at home by a 3-0 (25-18, 25-18, 25-19).
Lokomotiv played cat and mouse with Skra, not allowing the rivals to even think of winning the encounter. Actually, in the first and second set, Skra had a chance but only until the first TTO in both periods (7-8). Afterwards, Lokomotiv easily went up. The similar thing occurred in the third set until Sergey Savin made some good hits for 14-10 for Lokomotiv.
The German opposite Georg Grozer was the best scorer in the winning side with 14 points. There were no double-digit players in Skra for which Mariusz Wlazły did not play.
