BURSA BBSK keep on performing excellently in this year’s of Challenge Cup and today’s semi-final match from the first round was no different. They crushed NANTES VB with 3-0 (25-19, 25-23, 25-18). Emiliya Dimitrova led the team to a victory with 11 points while Ergül Avci Eroğlu scored 10 points. Katie Lynn Carter finished the match with 17 points for Nantes.
The date of the next match is still unknown.
Hippe
In the second semifinal, Olympiacos barely defeated Dinamo Krasnodar in the tie-break (18-25, 25-14, 23-25, 25-19, 15-13). Greman attacker Saskia Hippe led the team with 29 points followed by Georgia Lamprousi (18) and Stephanie Niemer (16). Yulia Podskalnaya scored 20 points for Dinamo.
The next match is scheduled for March 21 in Russia.
