The message is quite clear - FIVB will not tolerate doping in volleyball.

Russian player Stanislav Masliev is suspended for four years for using doping! Recall that he was tested positive on stanozolol before the Champions League match between Tirol and Hapoel Mate Asher Akko on November 11, 2016.

Masliev admitted that he used the drug on his own, while his club Tirol immediately terminated the contract with the player.

Now, Masliev will not be able to play volleyball professionally until November 11, 2020. His career might be ruined, but he can blame only himself for making such a huge mistake in his life.
