BUL M: Neftohimik return to the top of the standings by making 6th win in a row

The defending champions Neftohimik 2010 Burgas scored the 6th win in a row in the Bulgarian men’s volleyball championship Superliga.

In a duel of the title contenders, the defending champions Neftohimik 2010 Burgas defeated Pirin Razlog on the road to return to the top of the standings in Superliga. Pirin remained the third-placed.

Neftohimik had a huge blocking display as a team (13 kill blocks) with four players making 3 kill blocks apiece. In the terms of scored points, an 18-year-old outside hitter Georgi Petrov stood out on the winning side with 16 points, while four more players had double digits in Neftohimik. Nikolay Kartev was one of them (13 points), making the best percentage in the attack – 78% excellent attack. Iliyan Prespov delivered 13 points for Pirin.
