Sweden’s women’s volleyball team will be significantly weakened at the upcoming FIVB Challenger Cup in the Philippines, scheduled from July 4 to 7. The team, which recently won the CEV Golden League, will be without their key player and one of the world’s top opposites, Isabelle Haak.
Haak has confirmed her absence to Swedish media, citing exhaustion after a long season. “I had a long season and I am very tired. I need to rest,” Haak stated.
The winning team of the FIVB Challenger Cup will secure a spot in the FIVB Volleyball Nations League 2025.
