The Estonian middle blocker Kullerkann will play in France next season, more specifically for Le Cannet. In the Ligue A club, a 29-year-old player will reunite with the head coach of her country’s national team, Lorenzo Micelli.
The situation with the coronavirus made her transfer complicated given that she agreed to terms with the 13-time Swiss champions (while the club was based there and named Volero Zürich) in spring but couldn’t join them at that time. For that reason, Kullerkann had a verbal agreement with the club at home in which she finished last season, TalTech/Tradehouse, to remain in its ranks in case she doesn’t go to France.
In the meantime, all players in her new club are put in the quarantine after the COVID-19 case appeared among them.
