Chaumont made a transfer move that can easily change the course of the battle for the title in the 2020/21 French Men’s Ligue A. They announced hiring the Italy National Team member Filippo Lanza until the end of the season.

The arrival of a 30-year-old outside hitter, who just ended the club season with Vero Volley Monza in SuperLega, is on the basis of a medical joker. Lanza will replace Canadian Steven Marshall, who got injured in Game 1 of the playoffs against Tours, a few days ago, won by Chaumont (3-2). Italian international will make his debut in Game 2, on April 10.
