Victoria Ravva
German middle blocker signed a contract with French squad till December, when both sides will decide if it is going to be extended. Corina Ssuschke-Voigt comes to Cannes as a replacement for Victoria Ravva who is out of the team for six weeks due to an injury.
This is just one of numerous transfers in Cannes in last couple of months. After some members decided to leave the club at the end of the last season, coach Yan Fang decided to recruit players who can help improve on defense and reception. With this in mind RC CANNES signed Tatjana Bokan, MVP of the French national league last year, France’s national team libero Déborah Ortschitt, as well as Laura Partenio (ITA) and Maret Grothues (NED) with the aim being the qualification for the Final Four of Europe’s elite competition.
