Arago de Sète Volley Ball made a huge upset in Round 20 of the 2017/18 French men’s volleyball championship Ligue A by beating the leaders Paris Volley.

Paris, who has just returned to the No.1 (14-6; 42 points), might lose this position in case Tours Volley-Ball beat GFC Ajaccio Volley-Ball in three days.

The team from the French capital was trampled by the eighth-placed Arago de Sète (No. 9 prior to the game) partially 25-21, 26-24, 25-20.

Marien Moreau topped the winning side, who settled at the bottom of the playoff zone (9-11; 25 points), with 20 points. The Argentinean Facundo Imhoff made 80% attack (8/10, 1 error) while Steve Peironet made 80% reception (15 digs). In Paris, the Dutchman Wouter ter Maat scored 17 points. Nicolas Rossard made 73% reception (26 digs, 1 error).
