DRESDNER SC is a pioneer in many ways in Germany’s Bundesliga. The next step came with the introduction of a digital version of their season magazine.

The “Dresdner Zuspiel” is well-known in Dresden but this year it was – for the very first time – published digitally. Last year about 3,000 copies were printed with information about the players, the coaching staff, the opponents, as well as the matches played by the club in the CEV Volleyball Champions League. After re-shaping and re-styling their homepage, the club has worked intensively also with social media (Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube) before they finalized a digital version of their official magazine that will be available – within a few days – in the app stores of Google and Apple.

“We know that in the past we could reach about 2,000 people with our magazine” says Managing Director Sandra Zimmermann. “This figure is just sensational especially if compared to what other Volleyball clubs achieve here in Germany. However, we were not that satisfied. If you print your magazine, your audience is always limited to a certain number of people. That is why we decided to switch to a digital version being in this sense the very first Volleyball club to do so in our country,” she continues. “We want to expand our horizons and find new ways to inform and interact with our fans and with Germany’s Volleyball community.”
