A 23-years-old middle blocker built his career for the past two and a half seasons in Germany. Wasilewski, called by the German media as “Polish wunderkind, was the strength of Dresden.

After Dresden, which had to leave Bundesliga, he decided to return to his homeland. MOS Wola Warszawa, the Division 2 member, took him but Wasilewski was moved from the position of the middle blocker to the receiver.

The adventure of Wasilewski in Poland didn’t last long, because at the end of the last week, VfB Friedrichshafen’s managers came forward.

The parties haven’t yet signed the contract, but the information of siatka.org shows that the German team has the consent of Wola and paid the appropriate fee to the Polish Volleyball Federation.

Still, since the deadline in Bundesliga for registration of reinforcements was January 31, Friedrichshafen will have to find the way to make him a part of the squad.
