GER M: From 0-2 to 2-2 – Friedrichshafen tie series of playoff finals vs. BR Volleys

VfB Friedrichshafen have leveled the series of the 2017/18 German men’s volleyball championship 1. Bundesliga playoff finals against Berlin Recycling Volleys at 2-2.

After being two games down, the top-seed Friedrichshafen have fully returned into title race as they tied the 2017/18 Bundesliga playoff finals against No.2 BR Volleys at 2-2!

BR Volleys missed too many opportunities to win the championship in Game 4. For example, they dropped 18-13 in the second set. By making a turnaround, Friedrichshafen went two sets ahead, but won the game only in the tie-break, partially 25-19, 33-31, 22-25, 19-25, 15-13.

The Greek Athanasios Protopsaltis topped Friedrichshafen with 19 points. Philipp Collin made 4 kill blocks, while Norwegian Andreas Takvam recorded 73% attack (11/15). In BR Volleys, Australian Adam White delivered 26 points.

Friedrichshafen will host a decisive Game 5, on May 9.
