According to Greek media reports, Argentine Daniel Castellani will be the new head coach of Greek club Olympiacos, based in Piraeus. Castellani takes over the reins from Italian Alberto Giuliani, who is slated to transfer to Hebar in Bulgaria.
Castellani parted ways with Turkish club Fenerbahçe at the conclusion of last season and currently serves as the coach of the Argentine women’s national team. His vast experience in coaching spans several nations and includes noteworthy teams such as Olsztyn, Zaksa, Belchatow, Noliko Maaseik, and Sir Safety Perugia.
Throughout his illustrious career, Castellani has also helmed the men’s national teams of Argentina, Poland, and Finland. His trophy cabinet includes a gold medal from the 2009 European Championship with Poland, a victory at the Pan American Games, and several national championships in Argentina, Turkey, Brazil, and Poland. He also lifted the Challenge Cup in 2014 with Fenerbahçe.
