“PAOK is one of the biggest clubs in Europe, it has a great history and great players. PAOK has a long tradition in many sports. I have already completed my first training with the team, I know that they have taken two consecutive national championship titles in Greece and as far as I am concerned, I will do whatever I can in order to achieve further success.” said Starovic and continued:
“I would also like to thank the president and the people of PAOK who were waiting for me to come to their team. On Wednesday we have a difficult game against TOURS VB and we will do our best.”
As for his new club, Starovic commented: “I know the people of PAOK very well, because in Serbia I support Partizan, so I know them. I expect a warm atmosphere for this game. I hope many fans will be there and will celebrate our victory against TOURS VB. I am very pleased with the warm welcome I received from the people of PAOK, and as I have said before, I come from Serbia where we have the same culture regarding sports. As far as the facilities of the club are concerned, they are simply excellent and I am very happy with this.”
