The President Sacchi on Wednesday will be in Verona with all the other club presidents to discuss what will be the future of the Italian Serie A1 League after the announced defection of Crema and other clubs that have applied exemptions from regulation, commented: “I want to address in my name and all the clubs that represent the best wishes for a Merry Christmas, for athletes, technicians, managers, fans of our society but also of volleyball in general. The timing is not the best, the economic difficulties do not allow any club to work with peace of mind but I think this is the right time for us to reflect and find alternative solutions. Going back to my club, I think that after a start to the season a little subdued, due to accidents and mishaps, the team has found the right pace of the game and the final races are the result of work done in the gym by players and technical who strongly supported these victories. We expect the in the match against Bologna, an opponent not to be overlooked, we know that for them this is a last resort and will play to win important points. For our part we will need to keep the same focus and determination shown in the last few matches”.
