In the meantime, Piazza’s team will fly out to Siberia on Wednesday to take part in the Champions League Final Four. In the second semi-final, the Italians will take on the Polish side of Zakza Kedzierzyn-Kozle, while the other two teams are Kazan and Novosibirsk, both from Russia.
“Sunday’s game against Perugia was a good test ahead of the coming final four – said coach Piazza – This event is unique and like all special moments, you need to find that little extra to get above the others, but that’s easier said than done”.
