Too many mistakes on the serve for Castellana (31) but a good level of play, and some valuable answers from the bench with Stivachtis and Dolfo, who substituted Falaschi, not hundred percent yet, and Alex Ferriera who was not at his best.

Our level of play and attack made up for our poor serve. I think that in the end we showed what we were made of. But it’s not over yet, we need to rest to be mentally ready for the return game”.
Rocco Barone (Tonno Callipo VIBO VALENTIA): “It’s been a very tight encounter, we never gave up. We did a good job of staying in it despite losing the first two sets, in which we made a couple of mistakes too many. Shame it ended like that but we have to keep working because we have another battle ahead on Sunday”.
