Alberto Giuliani (Lube Banca Marche Macerata): “I am extremely angry, we have to learn to play well even after a hard week of training. A team like ours should always maintain a high level of play, and we did not do that today. At the end we still managed to finish second, and we’re happy with that because this represents a good result at the end of a tough second half of season. Now there will definitely be some interesting match-ups in the playoffs, hopefully we’ll do better than tonight”.
Bruno Bagnoli (Marmi Lanza Verona): “We got to this game with a lot of physical problems, but the hard work and sacrifices paid off and we can celebrate that we’re staying up. On other occasions we had played well too but without taking any points, this time things went fortunately well”.
