Allianz Volley Milano’s middle blocker, Matteo Piano, has successfully undergone knee surgery, the team announced. Following comprehensive clinical and instrumental examinations, a lesion in the medial meniscus of Piano’s left knee was discovered, necessitating surgical intervention. The arthroscopy was carried out at the San Pietro Hospital’s Orthopedic and Traumatological Clinic in Ponte San Pietro (Bergamo), by a proficient team led by Professor Marco Bigoni and Dr. Massimiliano Piatti, Allianz Milano’s team doctor. The operation concluded without any complications, marking a positive step forward in Piano’s recovery. The athlete has commenced his rehabilitation program, embarking on the path to full recovery.
