Fausto Polidori
The member of Serie A1 appointed Fausto Polidori as the new coach. He was in the club in the 80’s from the beginning of its rise from Division 3 to the strongest competition in Italy. This will be his first job after four years (coached Qatar national team in 2011).
Polidori will replace Paolo Montagnani and the decision came after the sixth consecutive defeat of the club.
Last win in Serie A1, Città di Castello had in 8th round, it was 3-1 against Vero Volley Monza. The team from Umbria region scored only two victories in 14 rounds and has seven points on its account in the standings, holding 11th place.
Polidori already conducted his first training with the new-old team. The next match Città di Castello will play on January 24 in Ravenna.
