Lube beat Monza with 3-1 (25-18, 23-25, 25-17, 25-21) thanks to 25 points by Giulio Sabbi and 15 by Bartosz Kurek.
Calzedonia Verona firmed at the position number 4 in the standings after victory over Exprivia Neldiritto Molfetta by 3-1. Mitja Gašparini had 20 for the winners.
With this loss, Molfetta put itslef in tough situation beacuse Copra Piacenza ended its losing streak of eight games in the Italian league and now has only six points less in the fight for the last spot that leads into the playoffs.
Piacenza won thriller vs. Top Volley Latina (3-2) with 24 from Hristo Zlatanov and 23 from Raydel Poey. Saša Starović scored 24 for Latina.
