It was a historic game for everyone in the city. Verona were playing their frst ever European finals, but the problem was that the match was placed in Novy Urengoy, Russia. As majority of their fans were unable to travel so far away from home, the Italian club decided to organize a live TV coverage in the local volleyball hall PalaOlimpia!
Plenty of fans came to watch the game and they had a lot of reasons for celebration at the end. Verona defeated Fakel on the road and won their first ever European trophy!
