Hauber
Tragedy occurred in the afternoon, on December 26, in the balloon “Pala Eagle” in a town Borgo Piave, near Latina, Italy. Hauber, also a beach volleyball player, has suddenly collapsed and died of a heart attack, despite attempts at reanimation, before the eyes of her teammates.
Local authorities ordered an autopsy which will likely determine the exact cause of Hauber’s death.
The “Pala Eagle” managers have announced that the facility will be closed for mourning until January 1.
