Even though home side took the first two sets 25-21, 25-21, they didn’t manage to win the game in three sets as Latina made a huge comeback and reduced Modena‘s lead by winning the third and fourth set 25-22, 25-23.
In the tie-break, Modena had to play with a full throttle to beat the rival 15-10.
Max Holt had 19 points, Vettori contributed with 14, while Cook and Piano added 14, and Ngapeth 13. On the other side, Fei finished the game with 19.
Vibo Valentia have managed to steal one set from Perugia, but Lorenzetti’s side have recorded 3-1 win. Aleksandar Atanasijevic was the top scorer with 20 points.
Trentino have scored an easy 3-0 victory over Piacenza 25-17, 25-23, 25-20. Jan Stokr was the top scorer in home team with 16 point,s while Lana added 12 and Urnaut 10. It is interesting that Trentino played this game with seven players entering the court.
On the other side Fernando Hernandez had 17 points.
