Scandicci have completed the third big part of their 2017/18 puzzle. After the arrival of Lucia Bosetti and head coach Carlo Parisi, this Italian club has managed to keep Floortje Meijners for the next season.
“I feel good in this environment. The company, the team and the fans welcomed me like a family. The project is very ambitious and there are long-term goals that are fully compatible with my personal goals. We want to win. I believe in the power of this team,” said Meijners.
Scnadicci were eliminated in the quarter-finals of the 2016/17 Italian Championship Playoffs, while the plan for the next season is go further than that.
