The French Men’s Volleyball National Team receiver Ngapeth went to the 2017 CEV European Championship with a serious pain in his back. It prevented him to play at a high level in the tournament, which caused with the early elimination of his team.
Now, according to the Italian media, he will take a break from playing for the „Team Yavbou“ until he solves the problems with his back. It means that Ngapeth will miss the 2017 FIVB World Grand Champions Cup in Japan, on September 12-17.
The French athlete will return to Azimut Modena, the club for which he will compete next season, in mid-month, to go the clinical examinations which should show the extent of the injury.
Although Modena staff hopes that Ngapeth will be able to immediately resume training with the group, it is not ruled that the volleyball superstar will have to undergo specialized therapies.
