“It’s the first game in the new season and we knew that we could get into trouble. We didn’t take advantage of some important moments and that means we have to work more to raise the level of our game. Some segments were below our level and we need to improve our service,” says head coach of Modena Radostin Stoytchev.
“We knew it was going to be a difficult game. Lube were bettere and I congratulate them. We want to take the victory in the third place match. I like to win and the whole team as well and that’s the only thing we want to do,” explains Bruno Rezende.
“We made a great first set and then our performance dropped in the second set. We are at the beginning of the season and we need to find some balance, balance that Lube already have, being the same team like in the last season. We will start working to improve and reach the level of play that we want,” says Tine Urnaut.
Lube defeated Modena last night in four sets to reach the final of the Italian Super Cup.
