In the first semifinal of the Italian Cup, they defeated Unet E-Work Busto Arsizio after three sets although the last two sets were uncertain until the end – 25-16, 27-25, 30-28.
American attacker Kimberly Hill and the Croatian Samanta Fabris led Imoco Volley with 20 point and 19 points while Valentina Diouf scored 21 points and Michelle Bartsch 17 points for UYBA.
The most interesting set was the third set when UYBA led from the beginning. They had 4:1, 14:11, 19:15 and 23:19. Fabris and Hill scored new points for 21:23, than Diouf‘s attack, went out of court for 23:23. UYBA wasted three sets balls and at the end, Laura Melandri put the block for 30:28.
