Japan women’s V.league: First day of Final Six

Finals Six of the Japanese volleyball league for Women has been started, JT Marvelous, Hisamitsu Springs and Denso Airybees scored the first wins.

JT Marvelous who is currently the first, have defeated Toray Arrows 3-1 (18-25, 25-22, 25-15, 25-23) thanks to Brankica Mihajlovićwho scored 15 points and Yuka Kanasugi with 14 points. For Toray, Kadie Rolfzen scored 27 points but that wasn’t enough.

Hisamitsu Springs who ended the regular season on the top, today barely defeated Body Queenseis 3-2 (25-23, 17-25, 22-25, 25-22, 18-16). In the winning team, Foluke Akinradewo was the top scorer with 27 points while on the opponent’s side, Neriman Ozsoy scored 35 points.

Denso Airybees also played five sets against NEC Red Rockets and the home team won although the opponents led 0-2 in seta – (23-25, 21-25, 25-21, 25-22, 15-9). Yurie Nabeya scored 26 points.

When the regular season finished, Body brought in the Final Six 3 points, Denso 2 points, Hibsamitsu 5 points, JT 4 points and NEC 1 point.
