Japan Women’s V.league: Hisamitsu and JT scored two wins

This weekend in Japan women’s teams played five matches; Hisamitsu Springs and JT Marvelous scored two wins each while Toray Arrows were better than Body Queenseis.

Hisamitsu Springs scored four wins in the Final 6 stage of the Japanese Volleyball league. This weekend they defeated Denso Airybees 3-1 (25-19, 18-25, 30-28, 25-15) and NEC Red Rockets 3-1 (25-18, 19-25, 25-20, 25-23).

Against NEC the best scorers in Hisamitsu were Arisa Inoue with 22 points and Yuka Imamura19 points while Sarina Koga scored 19 points for NEC. In today’s match, Yuki Ishii scored 21 points and Foluke Akinradewo 18 points for Hisamitsu while in Denso Nanaka Sakamoto scored 21 points and Mizuho Ishida 20 points.

JT Marvelous crushed Denso in straight sets (25-23, 25-15, 25-18) and Brankica Mihajlović was the top scorer with 26 points. In the second match of this weekend, JT defeated NEC 3-1 (23-25, 25-22, 26-24, 25-17) thanks again Serbian star who scored 33 points.

Before today’s defeat, Toray Arrows on Saturday defeated Body Queenseis 3-1 (23-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-16). Kadie Rolfzen was the leader with 30 points while Neriman Ozsoy scored 28 points for the defeated team.
