Incheon Korean Air Jumbos won the first national title in Korea in 49 years of the club existence.

The third-seed side reached the gold medal after making a comeback from 0-1 to 3-1 against No.1 Cheonan Hyundai Capital Skywalkers in the series of the 2017/18 V-League playoff finals. Thus, the Jumbos took revenge on the Skywalkers for losing the last season’s finals.

The Slovenian Mitja Gasparini topped the winning side in Game 4, which ended in straight-set, partially 25-22, 25-17, 25-20, with 22 points. Despite the fact he was the best scorer of the Jumbos in all four games of the playoff finals, he was not awarded the MVP of the series. It was his teammate, the setter Han Sun-Soo.

The Greek international Andreas Fragkos scored 12 points for the Skywalkers.
