The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the governing body of university sport in the United States, accepted the so-called ‘bubble’ as the way of organizing several competitions under its jurisdiction this season, including women’s volleyball.
Due to the circumstances that emerged from the COVID-19 pandemic, all 48 teams participating in the 2020 Division I will gather in Omaha, Nebraska, which had already been scheduled to host the semifinals and finals. All rounds of the championship are to be played at the CHI Health Center Arena and Convention Center, on April 13-24.
