The team of head coach Gert Vande Broek has saved their power for the end of the match when they showed all their possibility and positive energy for wining.
After winning the first set, France had a great chance to win the second, too. It would probably turn this match into their favor and maybe they would be closer to victory.
Ladies led by Fabrice Vial were ahead 16-10 in the second set and had 3 points advantage in the finish (21-18) but managed to lose. That turned the course of the match dramatically for Belgium.
In tie-break, Belgium was constantly leading and had the biggest advantage when it was the most important – in the second half of the decisive set (10-8 and 12-9).
The best players of the match were Charlotte Leys from Belgium and Astrid Souply from France who scored 18 points both.
