Caio De Pra led all scorers with 15 points, but that didn’t help his team at all. Barcala scored 14 for the winning side but Victor Viciana, an experienced setter in Teruel squad was announced as the MVP of the game.

Almeria had many problems with reception and also departure of Andres Villena will hurt this squad this season. Teruel was able to use all of their strengths to get this win and maybe set the stage for their return on top of Spanish volleyball.
