Yordanov (Olympiakos) and Zhekov (Tomis Constanta) are the new names on the Camillo’s list. Both of them didn’t play for the Bulgaria since last year, because of different occasions and interests. The receiver of KVK Gabrovo Stanislav Petkov will also be a part of national team again, after this year’s European Championship in Poland and Denmark.
The players of the Bulgarian national team will have a first meeting on December 17th and then will play two friendlies. After that, Placi will announce the two players who will leave the squad.
World Championship qualifiers will be held in Opava (Czech Republic) between 3rd and 5th January. Bulgaria will face Cyprus (January 3rd), Netherlands (January 4th) and Czech Republic (January 5th). The winner of the Pool will qualify for the World Cup 2014.
