The Belgian Volleyball Federation replaced the head coach of its men’s national team.
After 2 years, Fernando Muñoz stepped down from the post of the head coach of the Belgium Men’s National Team. The Spanish expert was replaced by Italian Emanuele Zanini.
Even though he was introduced by the Belgian federation at the beginning of 2020, Muñoz had to wait for more than a year for his first international match due to the corona crisis, which was the 2021 CEV European Championship. In it, the ’Red Dragons’ played badly and failed to book a ticket for the 2022 FIVB World Championship.
The 56-year-old Zanini was brought after parting ways with the Croatia Men’s National Team. He’s currently at the helm of a club in his home country, Consar RCM Ravenna.
