Shakhtar Soligorsk became the Belarusian men’s volleyball club champions for the 6th time in a row.
Shakhtar Soligorsk beat Stroitel Minsk 3-1 in the 3rd match of the playoff finals of the 2021/22 Men’s Higher League (Высшая лига Мужчины) sweeping the series at 3-0. Thus, the team commanded by Viktor Beksha became the strongest team in Belarus for the 6th time in a row. Previously, the team from Soligorsk won gold medals in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021.
The outside hitter of the old-new titleholders, the Russian international Andrey Marchenko, was named the MVP of the season.
