According to our sources, two more players from the Italian SuperLega will be joining the teams in Qatar towards the end of the 2022/2023 season. Currently, Sedlacek, Petković, Dirlić, and Petrić are already playing in Qatar. One of the new additions is Oleg Antonov from Gioiella Prisma Taranto, who will be joining Al Rayyan SC, the regular season champions and top contenders for the championship. Meanwhile, Police SC has also strengthened their lineup with a new addition from Top Volley Cisterna, in addition to Petar Dirlić. Efe Bayram is also set to join Police SC for upcoming cup competitions and the Asian Club Championship.
The Grand Final of the Qatar Volleyball League playoffs is scheduled for tomorrow, with Al Rayyan SC (featuring players like Oliver Venno and either Ivan Borovnjak or Oleg Antonov) and Al Arabi (with Dusan Petkovic and Marko Sedlacek) vying for the championship title.
