The Volleyball Federation of Serbia has officially ended its collaboration with the head coaches of the men’s and women’s national teams, Igor Kolaković and Giovanni Guidetti, following the expiration of their contracts. This decision was made during a meeting of the OSS leadership, led by President Đula Mešter, where the performance of both teams was discussed.
Kolaković, who guided the men’s team to Olympic qualification after 12 years, decided to step down, expressing the need for new leadership and fresh ideas. Meanwhile, Guidetti’s contract was also not renewed after leading the women’s team to the quarterfinals at the Paris Olympics. The search for their successors is ongoing.
