A total of 44 participants from 14 national federations attended.

The course was run by James Wilroy, managing director of Data Project USA, the NORCECA zone representative of the company who develops the software, as well as instructor Yeivic Jimenez.

FIVB 1st executive vice-president and NORCECA president Cristobal Marte Hoffiz was present at the opening ceremony last Tuesday and was keen to underline the on-going need for growth in all areas of volleyball.

Development is the name of the game, NORCECA is an open confederation for all our affiliates as well as to all the countries that want to be part of this effort for the good of our sport,” he said. “At the first course we provided the necessary keys to a total of 20 countries that participated, now we will add the keys and software to more federations like US Virgin Islands, Saint Kitts and Belize.
