It was a big surprise as PLDT has had a perfect run until finals, winning all matches in the regular season, and interesting enough – never losing more than one set per match! But, in the grand finale, Cignal HD Spikers stunned the big favorite and seized the trophy.
The MVP of the final was Lorenzo Capate Jr, receiver of the winning side, who scored 15 points. But, his teammate Gilbert Ablan was the top scorer of the match with 20 points. In the losing side, Alnakran Abdilla made 18 points.
This means that Cignal HD Spikers will represent Philippines in the next Asian Men’s Club Championship!
