“I’m the technical director of El Jaish. I’m responsible for the organization of training, for the game system and the overall organization of the club. Last week, I even led training. But, my position is in the management. My contract is until June 1”, Placì explained in an interview for sportal.bg his new job.

The Italian emphasized that he didn’t give up on coaching.

“Since today, boss of the club wanted to talk about a new 2-year contract, but we’ll see. I received some interests from several national teams. Even after I parted with the national team of Bulgaria, I received offers. But, what will happen after June 1 – I we’ll see.”

Placì added that he still has major support in Bulgaria by the fans.

Camillo, how are you, why did you leave? Can you come back? Many thanks for everything. You had a serious physical problem (when he was 18, broke a leg in motorcycle crash and terminated his career and then became coach), but you worked hard and selflessly. You’re more of a Bulgarian than born Bulgarians – they wrote to me things like these. That’s what makes me the most happy. On November 11, I had a birthday. On Facebook, 2,500 Bulgarians wrote to greet me.”
