Dinamo MOSCOW and Energy T.I. Diatec TRENTINO will be playing on Saturday the ‘grand finale’ of the 2015 CEV Volleyball Cup – Men.

The quality of Dinamo’s performance is something that is well-known to me,” said Bulgarian-born mentor Radostin Stoytchev, who has returned at the helm of TRENTINO: “They have a very strong team but we also missed our chances in the first and fourth sets of the match we played at home. In spite of this, Dinamo totally deserved to win that match. Tomorrow it is going to be tough but our team always performs well once they are confronted with a big challenge. We will fight up to the end. The current budget of our club did not allow us to have world-class players on each position and so we have some young players who do not have yet the necessary experience at this level. On the other hand Dinamo can count on two, three strong players on each position. I know some of them from the time I spent here in Russia with Dinamo but since then they have developed a lot. However, Volleyball is all about who is ready to seize the day and better prepared, in the end it does not really count who has more quality players on paper.

The team captain of TRENTINO, Matey Kaziyski, is also well-known in Moscow for he spent two seasons with Dinamo before moving to Italy. “Our task is very difficult but we are determined to play our best,” he said while addressing the Russian media. “We have the potential to achieve this feat and we hope that tomorrow will be our lucky day and that we will win in the end.

Dinamo recorded a precious though difficult win on Tuesday in Italy. What does Russian coach Yuriy Marichev expect from the re-match? “We do not expect an easy match at all,” he said. “We have been preparing for this match as carefully and thoroughly as possible. The first game was a difficult one and there TRENTINO showed that they are a tough opponent, so we should be ready for another difficult game tomorrow as well.

There is a lot of interest around this match in Russia’s capital and the sports hall should be sold-out on Saturday. “We are playing at home and if the hall is packed, it’s double the pleasure,” said Dinamo’s team captain Sergey Grankin. “Our fans will be our seventh player. They will surely help us tomorrow and we want to please them with a victory.
