Dr. Graça enjoyed this opportunity to brief Mr. Meyer about his candidature for the FIVB presidency and to illustrate the most significant points included in his agenda while preparing for the FIVB elective Congress scheduled for this coming September in Anaheim that will vote for and determine the successor of current FIVB President Jizhong Wei.
Mr. Meyer exposed the position of the European Volleyball family about the many issues that are being currently discussed in order to contribute a bright future to the sport also in the years to come.
On the other hand Dr. Graça stressed he was very impressed by the solid structure and many strengths of the European Volleyball Confederation, showing profound attention to the explanations provided by Mr. Meyer about the strategies and actions implemented by the CEV in Europe when it comes to Volleyball and Beach Volleyball from their grassroots up to the elite level.
