NED W: U.S. player won’t come to Sliedrecht, suffered tough injury!

It could have been her first season abroad but it didn’t happen. Injury prevented her of going to Netherlands.

Mita Uiato will have to wait for first professional contract. The reason for this is that the U.S. setter suffered an injury before the departure to Netherlands. The MRI revealed that she needs surgery on her cruciate ligament. After the surgery, she’ll need six to nine months to recover.

Both sides decided to terminate the contract. Sliedrecht has to search for another player.

In the last season she played for Wahine Volleyball Booster Club at the University of Hawaii.
