China and Japan completed a perfect day for favorites at the World Cup 2015. Despite playing once again without injured Zhu Ting, China had no problems in the game against Cuba – 3-0 (25:19, 25:10, 25:14). Chunlei Zeng and Changning Zhang were the top scorers in the winning side with 16 points each.
Japan also finished the job in just three sets. The hosts outplayed Peru by 3-0 (25:19, 25:21, 25:15), with Miyu Nagaoka and Saori Kimura being the best scorers with 12 points each.
