To win a medal, it’s always a huge success. Bronze medal might be the one with the weakest shine, but when some team gets the chance to take, it will do its best. Just like Serbia who won the bronze medal at the 2015 CEV European Championship by beating Turkey in Rotterdam.

Serbian outside hitter/receiver Brankica Mihajlović emphasized to our reporter in Rotterdam the magnitude of this win.

“I’m so excited and happy. Although I didn’t play in 2013, I remember that we had a misfortune in the bronze medal match, but now… this is enormous success, especially after a very tough game yesterday. We managed to recover. I have to emphasize that this team is together for five months, since May, participating at four tournaments and bringing three medals. This is a crown of all of that. We certainly all wanted to be in the finals, but the Russians were dominant. Still, I think that the strength of our team is in our capability to get over yesterday’s defeat and show that we possess mental and physical power, today,” Mihajlović said.
