As Iranian VF published, the former head coach Kovač sent a letter to its President Mohammad Davarzani in which he expressed his gratitude.
“Hereby I would like to thank you. During two years while I was beside you and your national team, you have always been supporting me and I am thankful for that. For me, working with the talented players was a pleasure. Along with them, we made a part of Iran’s volleyball history. Please, accept my excuse for cutting off cooperation. I wish bless for all of you and I am thankful for everything,” Serbian expert wrote.
Kovač had a need to address volleyball public in Iran due to controversial talks aroused by writing of some media and websites. Those said that he was angry with Iran’s VF after it appointed Argentinian Raúl Lozano as new head coach.
