Belgium fought until end and Gert Van Walle was the leader with 24 points. In the French side Kèvin Tillie scored 20 points. Now, both sides have the overall score of 2 win and 1 defeat in the FIVB World League 2016.
In the clash of the titans, Brazil outplayed USA after four sets. Volleyball team of the coach Rezende got its third victory in front of 9000 fans. Wallace Souza, with 18 points, and Ricardo Lucarelli with 17, were the key players for Brazil, but it was USA’s Matthew Anderson who finished the night with the most points, 19.
In a match marred by a high number of unforced errors Iran managed to beat Argentina 3-2 to earn its first victory of this year’s FIVB World League. With an exorbitant number of unforced errors (28 for Iran and 32 for Argentina) neither team was able to dominate the match for longer stretches. Iran’s Mohammadjavad Manavinezhad was brightest star having scored 18 points while Cristian Poglajen led Argentina with 17.
